The Welcome to King's app will be the first stage of welcoming you into university, offering a range of information from ID card collection to new opportunities at King's. The app is also full of events and information to help you get started at King's.
To download the Welcome to King's app, follow the instructions in our video How to download the Welcome to King's app or in our article What is the Welcome to King's app and how do I use it?
Before collecting your student ID card on campus, you must ensure that you’ve completed enrolment.
If you're not a British or Irish national, you must complete your Right to Study check as part of enrolment before you can collect your student ID card.
Explore and book onto events and activities via the Welcome to King's app.
Make sure you also check out King’s Edge, your home for opportunities beyond your course once Welcome to King's has finished. Explore workshops, language learning, volunteering, global projects, internships and more. You can collect K-Points to acknowledge your engagement, and work towards recognition on your HEAR to demonstrate your extra-curricular learning and showcase your skills to future employers and postgraduate programmes. Find out more on the King’s Edge support pages.
After Welcome, download the King's Student app for easy access to everything practical, like your timetable, email and Student Records, as well as to receive important University news and opportunities to connect with the King's community.
We'd love to see what you get up to during your time at King's, so if you're sharing posts and pictures on social media use #LifeAtKings.
