At King’s, we advise all students undertaking opportunities overseas to ensure they have adequate travel and health insurance, which can be sourced online independently before travel. Read the GOV.UK webpages for further guidance.
Important to know: King’s College London is not an insurance provider in its own right, nor can we help you with obtaining appropriate health insurance.
Please treat this information as guidance only, and make sure you are appropriately covered for the full duration of your work experience with any additional cover you may need.

SafeZone app
SafeZone is a smartphone app that assists staff and students managing their personal safety. We strongly recommend that you download SafeZone if you're travelling overseas, as this will help us get in touch and provide support in the event of an emergency.
SafeZone is available to download on Google Play for Android and the App Store for iOS. Once downloaded, simply follow the set-up instructions.
More information about SafeZone and its features can be found on King's internal webpages and via the Student News Hub.
