Modules are self-contained, credit-rated blocks of learning and teaching that make up a degree programme. As an undergraduate (UG) student, you will typically take modules equivalent to 120 credits each academic year of full-time study. Postgraduate taught (PGT) students usually take modules equivalent to 180 credits of full-time study. Most individual modules are worth either 15 or 30 credits, equating to 150 or 300 study hours, including lectures, seminars, and self-directed learning. Most modules consist of lectures supplemented by at least one of the following:
