There are a range of places to study at King’s – from libraries and computer rooms to informal group spaces. To explore all your options, check out our article: Where can I study on campus?

NMES Study Hub

The Study Hub is a room for study for all undergraduate and MSc students in the Faculty.  It's designed to provide a space for small group work, study in between lectures or revision leading up to exams.

The room is in KIN406 (4th floor of the King's Building, up some stairs off the main corridor opposite KIN418) and is accessible from 8.00 – 20.00.

You can find more information on the Study Hub on KEATS.

NMES Computing Hub

If you're based in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES), you can also make use of the NMES Computing Hub, located in KIN425.

This space is open to all NMES students but please be aware that it is occasionally booked for teaching. If a class is in progress, teaching takes priority. It’s up to the lecturer whether students can remain in the room to use any available computers.

Department-specific study spaces

Some departments have their own dedicated study spaces or facilities. You can find more details through the list below:

Important to know: King's buildings will be closed on bank holidays and on any other planned university closure days. For these dates for the year, please check When is King's closed?
