How can I access my personal timetable?
You can view your personal timetable through KCL Timetables. You should use your King's email address and password to log in.
You’ll be allocated to your classes shortly after you’ve completed enrolment. However, if your personal timetable isn’t complete yet, you can still view your programme’s timetable as it will show when all classes are running for your specific programme of study.
To view a programme’s timetable, select the Find timetable button on the left menu in KCL Timetables to check when classes are running.
You’ll then be able to see the following options:
- Select Programme to view all the timetabled classes for a particular programme.
- Select Module to view all the timetabled classes for a particular module.
- Select Location to view all the timetabled classes for a particular location.
For modules that have more than one seminar/tutorial group, your personal timetable will display which group you’ve been added to.
When will my timetable be available?
Once you’ve completed your enrolment, you can view your timetable by logging in to KCL Timetables. Use your K number and password to log in.

What can my timetable tell me?
Your personal timetable displays live data and includes your teaching activity titles, dates, times and locations.
Some students won't have a personal timetable at all because some programmes (for example, Medicine or Dentistry) only use programme timetables. Your department will let you know if you can only access a programme timetable.
Important to know: If you’re studying in the faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences (FoDOCS) and you’re:
- in your 4th or 5th year of your undergraduate course or
- a postgraduate taught student,
you can access your programme timetable through KEATS.
How can I ask for a change to my timetable?
You can speak with your department or faculty’s programmes team to discuss changes to your timetable.
How is my personal timetable created?
Your personal timetable is created through a collaboration between your department/faculty and the Timetabling team.
The time and day of classes are determined by several factors including:
- clash prevention
- staff availability
- room availability
- academic requirements – for example, your department might ask for a minimum length of time between the lecture and seminar to allow for information to be absorbed and researched.
I can't log in to access my timetable, who can I ask for help?
If you’re having trouble with logging in using your King’s IT credentials, please email our IT Service Desk or give them a call on 020 7848 8888.
